The Southern African Biofuels Association (SABA) is a non-profit organization of dedicated professionals, promoters, sponsors and motivated individuals who cooperate to support the development and implementation of a sustainable biofuel industry in Southern Africa.

Biodiesel is a diesel-equivalent, made from sources such as vegetable oils, which can be used in unmodified diesel-engined vehicles. It is VERY different from the straight vegetable oils (SVO) or waste vegetable oils (WVO) used as fuels in some modified diesel vehicles.
